Anne Tardos is the author of nine books of poetry, multimedia performance works, including her composition Among Men for speakers and musicians (produced the West German Radio, WDR, and numerous live performances). Her recent books include The Dik-dik's Solitude (Granary Books, 2003), I Am You, (Salt Publishing, 2008), and Both Poems (Roof, 2011), and NINE 1-126, (BlazeVOX books, 2015).

In 2012, she was commissioned to write the text for the hour-long song cycle The Celebration, by composer Michael Byron.

She edited Jackson Mac Low's Thing of Beauty (University of California Press, 2008), 154 Forties (Counterpath Press, 2012), and The Complete Light Poems [co-edited with Michael O'Driscoll] (Chax Press, 2015).

A Fellow in Poetry from the New York Foundation for the Arts, Tardos lives in New York.
